Why is Supreme so Popular?

Why supreme clothing? I don't believe there is a simple answer, and this answer isn't complete - however here's a few of my thoughts: It seems Supreme has become an industry leader and innovator without trying to be. Hype, weekly drops, restricted distribution, long-term vision, supply and demand, unique and exclusive collaborations, celebrity endorsement, history, and high quality accessories and clothes have combined to push Supreme to the top of street (and luxury) fashion. Now, Nike has NikeLab, Adidas has Kanye, and companies such as A Bathing Ape and Off White are trying to follow Supreme’s footsteps.
