Who was Chester Bennington?

Chester Charles Bennington (Phoenix, March 20, 1976 - Palos Verdes Estates, July 20, 2017) was a singer, songwriter, actor, and lead singer for the American band Linkin Park. He also worked for Dead by Sunrise and was lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots from 2013/15.                 

Personal life
He married twice - first with Samantha, with whom he had a son named Draven, and second with Talinda Bentley, with whom he also had three children, Tyler Lee, Lily and Lila. Chester also has a son named Jamie from a previous relationship. He also has an adopted son, Isaiah.

     Death

The Los Angeles Forensics Department spokesman said the singer apparently committed suicide by hanging at a private residence in the city of Palos Verdes Estates, near Los Angeles, at approximately 9 am on July 20, 2017, without inform more details.
Chester died the day Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave, would turn 53. Not only have musicians been musical partners countless times, but they were also close friends — Cornell was found dead on May 18 also by hanging. Linkin Park has won two Grammy Awards and sold 68 million records. Chester Bennington was the second singer of the group. Before, he sang on Dead By Sunrise. Chester Bennington has conquered several generations with the mix of alternative rock and grunge, introduced by Chris Cornell that would turn 53 today. Linkin Park sold over 70 million copies and won two Grammy Awards.
Chester Bennington died at 41. The musician's body was found at home in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
