“All Star”

Good, today we will meet the best known brand among us, All Star.
Who has never put one on? All Star is a model of canvas and rubber shoes produced by Converse. It is made under the name Chuck Taylor All Stars or Converse All-Stars (aka "Chuck's"). It was first produced in 1917 as an attempt by Converse to standardize basketball shoes. They were not popular until player Chuck Taylor adopted them as his favorite shoe for the sport. He was impressed by the design that soon became one of the best selling shoes. After suggesting a few changes, the shoe earned the player's name and his signature on the ankle. Although black is the most popular, Chuck preferred long-shoes (formerly known simply as 'white').

By the 1950s, the shoe had become popular with young people. Punk rock fans adopted tennis as a fashion trend until the late 1970s. All-Star became popular again from the 1990s onwards, especially among grunge band Nirvana fans, due to the fact that its lead singer, Kurt Cobain, had used All-Stars for many years before the 1990s due to the influence of different punk rock bands he enjoyed in his youth.
Today, shoes are very popularly worn by children, teenagers and young adults of both sexes. The shoes are available in many colors and in a variety of fabric and print styles. To date, over 800 million pairs of Converse All Stars have been sold worldwide, 30,000 per week. The moment we put on an All Star we feel that we are part of a new journey, we feel that something is part of us. They become part of us. They are made for you!
