Dragon Ball Z Pilot

 

DBZ is about the seven dragon balls, upon collecting all of them, you will be granted one wish. Any wish. Vested interests want to collect for immortality (Vegeta and Frieza). Some want them to rule the world (Emperor Pilaf).

DBZ is also about the mythical race called the Saiyans from Planet Vegeta. There is one Saiyan named Goku on Earth. These Saiyans get stronger after each battle and are incredibly powerful.

So, this guy Vegeta comes to Earth in search of Dragonballs and subsequent immortality. Goku stops him, Vegeta gets away vowing to take revenge...

In another Planet called Namek, a guy (or a girl?) named Frieza kills all the inhabitants (Namekians) and collects the 7 Dragonballs for immortality.

 How the Z Fighters - Goku, Krillin, Picollo, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Gohan (Goku’s son) and Bulma try to stop the Villains makes the plot of the Frieza Arc.
Oh, I forgot to mention that there are many sagas in DBZ. Sagas are ideally named after the villains in them. These are the main ones
- Vegeta Saga
- Frieza Saga
- Android Saga
- Cell Saga
- Buu Saga
Android Saga, Cell and Buu does not involve much about the Dragon balls though it plays a major role. I wouldn’t get into too much of these sagas as there will be too many spoilers. You have to watch them from the beginning to know it better.
 The series is a roller coaster ride of comedy, fights, emotion, trust, friendship and how a person can change from a dreaded villain to one of the most loved character in DBZ and Anime history.
